Programs Available
CHOICE presentations are suitable for students in levels six through
commencement. Generally lasting about forty-five minutes, they feature
professional actors and at least one student participant.
After each performance, presenters remain in character and engage the
audience in a talk-back session regarding the topics raised by the presentation.
Four presentations have been developed for the 2004-2005 school year:
- The Choice Of Responsibility
In an emergency room waiting area, a young woman waits to hear about the condition
of her grandmother.
- Warrior
The famed Courtland Park Warriors, a high school basketball team, celebrate
the return of their star player after a knee injury
- Career Day
During lunch at Crestmont
Middle School, a group of students discuss
the outcome of a Parent-Student Career Day Program
- Oh, Give Me A Home
In the Palmer home, a family wrestles with the dilemmas of providing continued
care for their aging mother.
